Unable to sync your iPhone to iTunes? Try US!

If you buy a new phone or want to back up your old one, you definitely need iTunes for it. But what if your Pc or Mac is unable to identify your device?
Well there can be many reasons behind this problem. Step by step this article will guide you through.
-          Method 1 : Cables
Check if the USB cable is authentic and Apple certified. Cheap cable’s may charge your device but may conflict while connecting to Mac or Pc.

-          Method 2 : Check the dock connector
People reported that cleaning phone charging port resolves their problem.
There might be some dust particles stuck inside your phone’s connector. Cotton buds will help you to clean out the moisture/dust.

-          Method 3 : Manually install/update drivers
Pc users also reported the problem. Manually installing/updating drivers helped them out.
Follow through to update driver software.
1.       Open the start menu and search for “Device Manager”. Open it
2.       Locate “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver”, it will be under the options: “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”, “Imaging Devices”, “Portable Devices”, “Other Devices” or “MTB USB Device”.

3.       Right click on it and select the option “Update Driver Software…”
4.       Now click on the second option “Browse my computer for driver software
4.       Click on “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
5.       Now click on “Have Disk…”
6.       Click on the option “Browse…”
7.       Now browse to “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers” and select “usbaapl64.inf” file.
8.       Now click “Next” and close the Device Manager.

After this drivers will be installed successfully.

-          Method 4 : Some tweaks

1.       Especially “Windows 10” users faced the problem that their iPhone/iPad wasn’t identified while their phone was locked. Unlocking the device before connecting to PC/Laptop worked for many out there.
2.       After updating iPhone/iPad to new iOS, people forgot to update their iTunes. Moreover, application don’t notifies the users every time about the available updates. To update iTunes, on the “option bar menu” click on “help”. Now in the list click on “Check for Updates” and download the update.

-          Method 5 : Fresh iTunes install

If you are still in the hassle you might need to uninstall “iTunes”, “Apple software update”, Apple mobile Device Support", “Bonjour”, “Apple Application Support 32-bit” & “Apple Application Support 64-bit”.
After the uninstallation of above listed Applications from your Pc. Restart the computer and download a fresh copy of iTunes from Apple’s website. After the download, run the setup and install iTunes.
